Generally weddings in Ubud tend to be more expensive as many wedding vendors such as bands, makeup artists and photographers charge extra fees for their services when having to travel to Ubud. Ubud based vendors tend to be less sophisticated and often do not match the quality levels couples expect. The downtown area of Ubud is very crowded with congested traffic and the town has rather poor road infrastructure.
